SLC Gravure Lamination Ink (SLC)

Recommended substrate:

1- Treated OPP, BOPP ( with surface tension higher than 38 dyne )
2- CPP, PVC, PET film ( with surface tension higher than 48 dyne )

Characteristics :

1- Odorless and tasteless ink.
2- Good adhesion on film.
3- Good lamination performance, with stable bond strength
4- Good solvent release , suitable for high speed press ( from 40 to 140 m/min )
5- High water and chemical resistance
6- Suitable for food packaging , toluen free , composition of binder is in compliance with FDA 21 CFR $ 175.300.
7- Depth of printing cylinder ( etched and electric engraved ) from 15 to 50 micron .
Reducer :

Viscosities on press as following :
White ink : 15 - 18 sec /zahn 2/ 25C
Color ink : 17 - 20 sec /zahn 2/ 25C

We recommend some mixtures of solvent on press :
1/ Standard solvent : MEK/ Etyl acetate : 60 /40 : use for full background printing .
2/ Slow solvent : MEK/ Etyl acetate/IPA : 45 /40/15 : use for process printing

Notes:
1- Adhesion power of ink on film will be the best after 24 hours.
2- SLC ink can adhere well to PVC , artificial leather, floor coverings ,wall coverings , truck tarpaulins.
