OPP Gravure Laminating Ink (OPP) Recommended substrate:
1- Treated OPP, BOPP ( with surface tension larger than 38 dyne )
2- Modified OPP film
Characteristics :
1- Good adhesion on films
2- Good lamination performance, with stable bond strength
3- Good solvent release , suitable for high speed press ( from 40 to 100 m/min )
4- High color strength , easy color matching.
5- Suitable for extrusion lamination and dry lamination
6- Depth of printing cylinder ( etched and electric engraved ) from 15 to 50 micron.
Reducer :
Viscosities on press as following :
White ink : 13- 16 sec /zahn 3
16- 18 sec /zahn 2 ( Sheen )
Color ink : 15- 18 sec /zahn 3
18- 20 sec/zahn 2 ( Sheen )
Depend on speeds of press, we recommend some mixtures of solvent :
1/ Toluen/ Etyl acetate / MEK : 50 /30 /20 : more than 100m/min.
2/ Toluen/ Etyl acetate : 70 /30 : from 60 to below 100m/min
3/ Toluen/ Etyl acetate : 90/10 : from 30 to below 60 m/min
Notes:
1-OPP ink is not suitable for requirements such as : high heat, abrasion, sterlilization, oil resistance.
2- OPP ink is designed for reverse printing and do not use it for surface
